Open level 1 Asian Regional Coaching Course in Sri Lanka

A Regional level 1 Asian Coaching Course will take place from 22-29 January 2012 in Colombo, Sri Lanka under the expertise of World Archery Development and Education Director, Pascal COLMAIRE.

PARTICIPANTS :
Maximum participation : 20 Participants

PROGRAM:
The content will follow the classical World Archery agenda, which includes:
•    What is coaching?
•    Instruction delivery
•    Practical teaching through interactive process
•    Shooting sequence including: Preparation movements - Forces production period – The shot – Continuity (bow arm included)
•    Equipment: Choice; Set-up; Maintenance
•    Psychology: Concentration/Attention; Mental and Visual activities – Breathing – Visualization - Stress identification and management
•    Physical: general and specific for strength, cardio and body balance
•    Evaluation of the candidates
It is a practical coaching education program, including lot of sessions on the range (with bow in hands) during which the participants alternately act as coach and novice.

COSTS
Course fee: 110.00 Euros, includes lunch and refreshments during the course

At the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute
Single Room: 35.00 Euros/ per day
Double Room: 20.00 Euros/ per day
Accommodation price is on half board basis (Breakfast & Dinner provided)

Transportation: from and to Airport 30.00 Euros per person
